1992 s’intéresse au Street Art et à la contre-culture.
1999 premières photographies altérées.
2000 degré zéro de l’image (photographies intégralement effacées, ne subsistent que les traces de l’effacement).
2001 enseigne le français dans une institution privée à Tokyo - court les magasins de baskets.
2002 enseigne le français à l’Université de Chicago - court les magasins de baskets.
2003 exposition Questa Macchina ! co-réalisée avec Thierry Fabre (Rodez) - premiers volumes photographiques. vit à New York - court les magasins de baskets.

The models for this piece were 'fancy' mice that ranged in ages from a couple of weeks to maturity. The baby mice pictured were bred to make pictures with. This is part of an ongoing exercise in constructing grids. The original negative monochrome prints have been inverted and synthetically coloured. This work reproduces the mice to their actual size.

Comment:
The most recent in series of paintings and drawings employing the use of the Burqa as a motif visually deceptive in its simplicity, and loaded with cultural connotations, especially in the current climate. "Burqa Kawaii 2 (Burqa VS Mecha Simurgh )" draws on a diverse source of references including the subcontinental Miniature (mainly Moghal, Persian and Deccani), not just purely in their aesthetic, but also in using the Miniature to explore the discourse between the conventions, sensibilities and traditions of painting from the 'East' and the 'West'. A re-assessment rather than an 'appropriation' of visual culture and intellectual pursuit, thats feeds into my investigation of the discourse and critical endeavor that is contemporary painting, and to look at contemporary painting not just in terms of the conceptual, but in terms of a conceptual way of thinking that is not denigrated by its ability to be visually engaging.

Empruntant une technique très ancienne en pâtisserie pour enrober les gâteaux de chocolat, Freddie a congelé des objets puis a ensuite pulvérisé dessus du chocolat chaud à l’aide d’un aérographe. Par la magie de cette petite cuisine interne, ces objets pétrifiés sous le chocolat sont alors métamorphosés en des formes au design épuré et à l’aspect délicat du velours . Enfin, la prise de vue fixe définitivement sur la pellicule des « natures mortes » monochromes (source : propice.com).
